THE Isle of Wight Met Service has issued a yellow weather warning for freezing fog and ice today (Saturday), with temperatures expected to drop as low as -6C overnight. Island Roads gritters will be treating precautionary routes from 9pm tonight, as well as bridge decks at Stag Lane and Foxes Road. According to local forecasters, through the evening, we will see areas of fog developing quickly.
