Road humps and a new 20mph speed limit could be introduced on a notorious rat run in Thornbury. South Gloucestershire Council are proposing to reduce the speed limit from 30 mph on Crossways Lane, Clay Lane, Whitewall Lane, Hacket Lane and Hacket Hill. Residents, councillors and MP Luke Hall have long raised concerns about the number and speed of cars using the cut through to the A38.
