A MOTOR club s 32nd event is set to place in August – and Cumbrians can share their interest now. Wigton Motor Club is excited to once again offer two events at its Cumbria Classic Weekend, encouraging visitors to stay in the Lake District, and Eden in particular. The first event – the Rose and Thistle Tour – is set to take place on August 21, with the Cumbria Classic Car Show taking place the following day. Throughout the weekend, which helps support Blood Bikes Cumbria and Hospice at Home, the tour will see drivers visit some of the most interesting roads in England and Scotland, while visitors take in the stunning setting of Dalemain Mansion, by Ullswater for the car show. ....
