Every family in Western Massachusetts that receives gifts from Toy for Joy this year will also receive a book to read with their children.
The Irene E. & George A. Davis Foundation has sponsored the purchase of the books for many years now, and this year is no exception.
“The Davis Foundation is pleased to make this community investment, an initiative that has been part of the valley in bringing joy to children and their families for many years,” said Paul Belsito, executive director of the foundation. “The inclusion of books as part of gift giving during the holidays recognizes the impact of a child opening of a book.” ....
