Deputies searching for 'armed and dangerous' man accused of killing his mother-in-law, holding his wife and kids hostage


UPDATE:
Deputies have located the man wanted in connection to Thursday night’s killing of a woman on Loyola Drive in Cypress.
Gregorio Gaytan was found Saturday afternoon behind a strip center located near Highway 6 and Settlers Way, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
Deputies said when the SWAT team was holding a perimeter, a single gunshot was heard. Gaytan was found with what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound and has been pronounced deceased at the scene, Gonzalez said on Twitter.
Sugarland police will handle this scene investigation.

HOUSTON – A Paralympic athlete training for the 2021 summer games is asking the public’s help after someone stole her everyday wheelchair.
Jazmin Almlie-Ryan has a sports chair she uses to train within her Cypress neighborhood. While she trains she leaves her everyday chair in her driveway so it’s easy to switch into. However, when she returned home at around noon on Wednesday, it was gone.
“The problem is that I can’t go anywhere in the chairs that I’m in. I can’t get into my house. I can’t get to the bathroom,” said Almlie-Ryan. ....
