Premium Content Subscriber only A father was sentenced to seven months imprisonment, wholly suspended, after Roma police found him parked in the middle of the street with the ignition on while high on meth and incoherant. Cody James Hartley Jackson fronted the Roma Magistrates Court on April 20 and pleaded guilty to a range of drug offences. The court heard just after midnight on December 17, 2020, Dalby Police were performing patrols on Cunningham Street, Dalby when they intercepted the defendant. "He submitted to a roadside breath analysis test and a positive result was presented," police prosecutor sergeant Heather Whiting said. "The defendant stated to police he had three or four pipes of meth a few days prior and a certificate was produced confirming the relevant drug."

Ethan Robert Holland, 25, faced Dalby Magistrates Court via video link on March 2, charged with committing a public nuisance. The court heard police were called at the BP service station along Drayton St about 8.35am on January 29 in relation to a disturbance. Police prosecutor sergeant Derek Brady said the attending officers didn't find anything upon arrival, but were made aware of the altercation by witnesses. Sergeant Brady said police reviewed CCTV footage showed a group of youths walking along the footpath at the fuel station, with one of the juveniles on a pushbike.

Peter William Hansell, a former long-time Dalby bank manager, pleaded guilty in Dalby District Court on February 10 to collecting child exploitation material over a two decade period, and financially supporting a black market that thrives on children's misery. The court heard when detectives swooped in on the retired Agribusiness bank manager's home on January 12, 2020, officers uncovered 139 category one child exploitation files.
