NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Notre Dame women’s basketball team (5-5, 3-3) has shown the ability to bounce back after a loss and the Irish will look to do the same with a tough matchup against Wake Forest (6-3, 3-2) on Thursday, Jan. 14. It’s an early tip inside Purcell Pavilion, with the game kicking off at 4 p.m. EST on ACC Network.
HISTORY WITH WAKE
Notre Dame will look to keep its unbeaten streak alive against Wake Forest, entering Thursday’s contest at 8-0 all-time. The series only dates back to 2010 and didn’t pick up until the Irish joined the ACC conference.

The Irish lead the all-time series against the Hurricanes, 21-5, with an 8-3 mark at Miami. However, the last time the Irish visited Coral Gables, the Hurricanes upset the Irish, 72-65, on Feb. 7, 2019.
Now, the Irish have won six of the last seven. The last encounter, which occurred Jan. 19, 2020, at Notre Dame, resulted in a 76-53 Irish victory.
CLEMSON, S.C. – After pulling off a momentous win against a then-undefeated Virginia Tech squad on Thursday, the Notre Dame women’s basketball squad looks to head into the holiday break riding high. To do that, the Fighting Irish (3-3, 1-1) will have to knock off Clemson (7-1, 2-1) in enemy territory on Sunday, Dec. 20.
