Two Canadians charged over plot to murder Iranian defector, with hitmen accused of operating at ‘behest of Iran’s ministry of intelligence’

Iran has been accused of hiring a Hells Angels biker to assassinate a dissident in the United States.

The indictment unsealed in federal court is at least the third Iran-based murder-for-hire plot prosecuted by the Justice Department since 2022.
