On Thursday, a Nigerian politician and his wife were charged in London for plotting to have a 15-year-old boy brought into the United Kingdom to harvest his organs, The Guardian reported.  According to the police, 60-year-old Ike Ekweremadu along with his wife, Beatrice Nwanneka Ekweremadu, 55 were both brought into Uxbridge magistrates court in west London on Thursday after being charged with conspiracy to arrange the travel of another person with a view to harvest organs. 

This comes amid charges against Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice Nwanneka for allegedly conspiring to traffic a child to the European country for organ harvesting.

Ike Ekweremadu is said to have arranged the transport of a boy to the UK for organ-harvesting.

The attorney general will decide within 14 days if Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice, will face trail in the UK
