Christine Ann Strickland Christine Ann Strickland, 73, of Rochester, MN, died Thursday, December 10, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital from complications related to a long battle with cancer and a recent hospital stay. Chris fought her cancer with courage and determination. She never complained and never gave up because each day she won gave her more time to be with her family which she truly cherished. Chris was born April, 13, 1947 in Waterloo, Iowa to Charles and Dorothea (Schmidt) Beck. She graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1965. On August 5, 1967 she married Gordy S. Strickland in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After residing for many years in Lincoln, NE the couple moved to Rochester in 2008 to be closer to family. ....
