Gunmen Hijack 18-Passenger Bus In Nigerian State, Rivers; Shoot Driver
Some gunmen suspected be kidnappers reportedly hijacked a fully loaded commercial bus conveying 18 passengers along Port Harcourt-Owerri Road on Wednesday night. It was learnt that the incident happened at Omurele community in the Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State. The commercial bus driver identified as Emeka, popularly called Car Wash, was returning to Port Harcourt from Owerri along with his conductor and 18 passengers when they were ambushed by the gunmen, The Guardian reports.
