  Some gunmen suspected be kidnappers reportedly hijacked a fully loaded commercial bus conveying 18 passengers along Port Harcourt-Owerri Road on Wednesday night.   It was learnt that the incident happened at Omurele community in the Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.   The commercial bus driver identified as Emeka, popularly called Car Wash, was returning to Port Harcourt from Owerri along with his conductor and 18 passengers when they were ambushed by the gunmen, The Guardian reports.

The police officer said the painstaking and diligent investigations, through the swift deployment of intelligence and tactical assets led to the arrest of the suspect.
