Pennsylvania marijuana legalization could generate $41 million in first year, fiscal report says

Legalization of recreational marijuana could generate up to $41 million in the first year of sales and climb to $271 million by 2028, according to an analysis by the state Independent Fiscal Office. Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro proposed cannabis legalization as part of his budget address in February. With the exception of West Virginia, all of Pennsylvania's bordering states have legalized recreational marijuana.
