Cottage Grove police are investigating after the gruesome discovery of eight dead dogs, found stacked up on Grey Cloud Island. Officers say there are no obvious signs of ongoing abuse and it looks as if they were at one time someone's pets.
The dogs included a Schnauzer and other similar-sized white dogs, which could be a terrier breed, police said.
