This year, 592 Penn State students danced during THON Weekend to raise awareness and fight childhood cancer. Some were based out of branch campuses, most were supported by organizations, and a few even danced independently. Dancers stood for 34 hours this year given the sleep breaks from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. on Friday and Saturday night. All dancers would’ve stood for 46 hours in the Bryce Jordan Center had we been there. For a total of 12 hours of THON 2021, the live footage shuts off and dancers get a break, which means there are 12 hours of undocumented THON content.
