One dead, two injured in fire
By MELINDA WILLIAMS melinda@southwesttimes.com WYTHE COUNTY — A 16-year-old male is believed to have died in a Wythe County house fire that left two other people injured. According to a press release from Wythe County Sheriff Charles W. Foster, firefighters from numerous departments responded to a residential fire at 379 Bower Lane just after 9 a.m. Sunday. Three occupants escaped the structure, but first responders were told a male remained inside.
