Upcoming television adaptation of Inquirer story to explore history of sensationalized Eyewitness News format
Red Crown Productions has optioned the television rights to "Lights. Camera. Crime," a March 2022 story in the Philadelphia Inquirer written by Layla A. Jones. The story, which was produced as part of the publication's 'A More Perfect Union' series, tells the history of the Eyewitness News local television format, which is still widely used today.
