DENHAM SPRINGS — Three Louisiana high school robotics teams are heading to the world championship of robotics. One of them is straight out of Denham Springs.
Eiland said the team's goal is to get to the World Championship but needs to raise $20,000 to cover travel expenses and other financial needs. Students will be looking for help from the community and potential sponsors to support their journey, according to a press release.
Robotics teams from high schools in Louisiana, Mississippi and Oklahoma will compete in a Saturday, October 9 competition at Denham Springs High School’s Hornsby Gym.
