He has declared a "State of Emergency" in response to the Colonial Pipeline shut down. Most of Florida's fuel is delivered via ship, and the pipeline has little to do with fuel shortages. When launched by Gannett the USA TODAY newspaper’s national success hinged on presenting basic “Who, What, When, Why and Where” informative articles sometimes in one or two paragraphs but always complete on one page. Now all of Gannett’s newspapers’ articles are the length of novelettes sometimes covering several pages and larded with purple prose requiring readers to search through several paragraphs for the point and salient details of the story.
