San Diego police arrest suspected gunman in Oak Park homicide
SAN DIEGO — Homicide detectives arrested an 18-year-old man last week who is suspected of fatally shooting a man in May on a residential street in Oak Park, police announced Thursday night. Investigators arrested Daniel Mark Frutoz on June 25 on suspicion of murdering 44-year-old Bao Tien Duong, according to San Diego police homicide Lt. Andra Brown. A news release announcing the arrest did not include an alleged motive in the slaying. Jail records indicated Frutoz was arraigned sometime prior to Thursday night, and remained in custody without bail. Duong was gunned down about 9:30 p.m. ...
