According to Keystone-ATS, coming in behind the two majority parties, the Free List centre-left environmentalists obtained 12.9% of the votes, the Democrats for Liechtenstein 11.1%, and right-wing populists, the Independents (DU), got 4.2% of the votes, which was not enough to enter Parliament. While the DU had increased their vote share in 2013 and 2017, the country’s election on Monday was seen - as it has always been - as a two-horse race, with only marginal differences, policy-wise, between the horses.
