Driver Killed Following Head-On Collision On Saluda Highway In York County April 12, 2021 YORK COUNTY, S.C. — A driver was killed following a head-on collision in York County.  The accident happened around 7:30pm on April 11th on Saluda Highway near Porter Black Road about five miles south of Rock Hill, according to Troopers. Daniel Simpson, 43, of Rock Hill, was traveling south on Saluda Highway when Troopers say he drove left of center and crashed head-on into a Honda Accord.  The driver of the Honda was killed in the crash, according to Troopers. A SUSPECT has been charged after a car overturned following a crash and closed a major road.

Hinckley-based Triumph Street Twin rider, Angi Todd, 46, bagged her CBT certificate in April 2019, before passing her test in August 2020. She says the group helped inspire her to pursue biking and she has gone on to cover 11,000 miles across two bikes in 17 months. "If I hadn’t been invited to the group by my husband, Andy, and seen some of the members' comments, I really don’t think I’d have done what I did," she beamed.
