The Erie County Health Department has loosened the rules on who has to quarantine when there’s a positive case of Covid-19 in school. Since September, the county has taken a conservative approach and ordered 14 days of quarantine for anyone who was in a classroom with an infected person for 60 minutes or more. But now, with lower transmission rates being found in the schools, Erie County has backed off those guidelines.
