“We are stronger as a community, and we want those in long-term care to know that they are a significant part of our community,” said MPNH Director of Community Programs, Claudine Matlo. “Letting our seniors, particularly those in long-term care, know that we are all in this together, that we care, and that there is hope is the best medicine. ” Members of the public are also being invited to drop off cards at Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House. Those who want to send a Valentine’s to one of MPNH’s seniors are asked to do so before February 10. Further information can be obtained by contacting MPNH Special Events and Outreach Coordinator Daniela Gunn-Doerge via email, or Caregivers Connect Coordinator Judy Venable through email.
