Nonprofit leaders say they need to receive government funding on time. This legislation would help them receive prompt and timely payments.

Kentuckians donated $776,382 to 232 nonprofit organizations participating in the eleventh annual Kentucky Gives Day online giving campaign.

Between now and 11:59 p.m. Tuesday night, donors can choose between more than 260 non-profit organizations across the state to give a helping hand.

The pilot show hosted by Brian Simmons features studio guests Steve Austin of the Bluegrass Community Foundation who will speak on the free wireless cloud internet access project in downtown Lexington; and Danielle Clore of the Kentucky Nonprofit Network who will discuss the importance of nonprofit awareness. On-Location stories include Friend For Life Cancer Support of Louisville, Kentucky and a unique theatrical performance titled: Don't Call Me Homeless, I Don't Call You Homed.
