While the emerald ash borer has only officially been found in three trees on the southwest side of Nest Lake in Kandiyohi County, the Minnesota Department of Agriculture is warning residents around the lake that it is very possible their trees are infected as well. The department led a virtual public meeting on Wednesday to share information about the pest and what property owners, cities and counties can do to slow the spread.
