PITTSBURGH – A local construction company felt its work on a parking garage to be built as part of Pittsburgh International Airport’s $1.4 billion modernization program would be in jeopardy due to its competitor trying to hire one of its high-level former employees, and successfully obtained an injunction to prevent such a move.
From staff reports McCLURE – A 19-year-old Centre County man lost his life in a logging accident Wednesday morning in Decatur Township, according to a report from the Mifflin County Coroner’s Office. Coroner Daniel P. Lynch said David M. King, of Rebersburg, was killed when a tree he had cut came down on top of him, pinning him beneath the tree.
