President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Romando Artes as chairman of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).

After temporarily leading the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) as its Officer-In-Charge, lawyer Romando Artes has been named as the agency's chairman at least for the remainder of the Duterte administration. This, after President Duterte appointed him as chairman effective March 1.
