Community order and compensation for assault and shoplifting in Cardigan
A MAN has been given a community order and will have to pay compensation after admitting charges of assault and theft in Cardigan. Danny Clive Smith, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to assaulting another man in Cardigan on August 31 last year. He also admitted to stealing a bottle of vodka and a bottle of orange worth £19.41 from the town’s Aldi supermarket on the same date when he appeared by live link at Aberystwyth Justice Centre.
