Free heart screenings will be available Saturday, July 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Daniel E. Rumph II Recreation Center, located at 100 E. Johnson St. in Germantown. The ECGs are being provided by the Daniel Rumph Foundation and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Danny Rumph was a college basketball star from Philadelphia who died at age 21 when he collapsed from an unknown heart condition.
