they brought in a cadaver dog along the banks of the harpeth river today, looking for a 39-year-old man missing since saturday. his name is danny tomlinson, an amateur fighter, he works for a prosthetics company. his family and friends have been searching now for five days. >> we're doing all we can at this point with the people that we have. i mean, what else can you do but search? >> reporter: the area of the river they're searching right now is about 15 miles downstream from where danny was last seen. he was driving with a friend on saturday night when all of a sudden their vehicle got swept away. danny's friend escaped. the car was found on tuesday, but there's been no sign of danny. >> trying to stay strong. because i've got to have hope that they're going to find my son. i want to find him. alive. >> reporter: she and danny's sister come to the river every day, but hope is hard to hold on to. >> he was wonderful. he loved god.
