The speaker at the Jan. 31 Rotary Club of Kirksville meeting was Darrell Crooks (left) of the Adair County Ambulance District. He has served 24 years as paramedic program director with a total of 44 years in the general field. Rotarian Jennifer Chrisman (pictured right) in her introduction said that Crooks is also the pastor of the Novinger Baptist Church.

Sandra Jo Crooks, age 82 of Ionia, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hampton, with Pastor Kevin Frey presiding.
