Comment from Gary Gait, Marechek's teammate in Victoria and Philadelphia and a charter member of the NLL Hall of Fame. Tom was one of the greatest players in NLL history. He played with tremendous passion every game and was the smoothest player in the league, with a unique flair for behind-the-back passing and scoring. Nicknamed Hollywood by his teammates for how he played on the field and how sharp he looked off the field! He was one of my favorite players I have ever played with!
