The makeshift track has been dismantled by councillors amid fears over safety. Youths are believed to have built the structures in Workington's Hall Park themselves, but Allerdale Borough Council has now confirmed it will be dismantling and removing the obstacles. The council said that as well as posing a safety risk to anyone using the park, the structures are also causing serious damage to the woodland and wildlife habits - but readers were not convinced.
