WRIGHT TWP. â Veteran Police Chief Royce Engler says he was notified Wednesday that township supervisors will not be approving a new contract for him at their meeting next week. Engler, a 42-year veteran who has been chief for the past eight years, has been working for nearly a year without a contract. Reached for comment Thursday morning, Engler said supervisors Chairman Matthew J.
