The Ozaukee County fire departments bare-boned approach requires a change, study says

With an increase in service calls and a dwindling number of emergency responders, the findings of a countywide fire department study could result in a rejuvenated collaborative effort among Ozaukee County municipalities to boost fire department resources.
The seven-month, $23,500 study  conducted by the Wisconsin Policy Forum  was paid for by the municipalities whose departments were considered.
Nine total departments were evaluated in the study. ....
