Poor road design kills- especially in North Dakota
When one thinks of road factors that cause crashes, especially in North Dakota, the first thing that tends to come to mind is harsh weather -- and while icy roads and freezing temperatures can indeed cause problems, there is another threat that can lead to fatal accidents any time of year: poorly-maintained roads. A lack of proper construction, obscred markings, and inadequate signage can lead to disaster when drivers are not prepared for unexpected situations... and as a new study shows, this is especially problematic in the Peace Garden State.
