A MAN who crashed a car while over the drink-drive limit was ‘lucky’ not to have suffered more serious injuries. Thomas Bevan, of Richmond Avenue in Latchford, smashed the vehicle into a parked car and garden wall in Orford after leaving a party. The 24-year-old, who had a passenger in the car at the time, fled the scene but was later found by police dogs and arrested.
