A concert is slated at Lakeside Chautauqua s Steele Memorial Bandstand located at 103 Kenton Row for preseason offerings. The North Coast Winds Quintet opens the series at 3 p.m. Sunday with a high-octane trip through time and space, culture and place. Composed of several orchestra musicians including principal flutist Kimberly Zaleski, Arleigh Savage (bassoon), and Adrian Gonzalez (oboe) along with Ben Chen (clarinet) and Emily Shelley (horn), their program begins with American-powerhouse composer Valerie Coleman who weaves urban-classical roots with a rip-roaring ride through eastern Europe in her virtuoso showpiece for woodwind quintet, Tzigane. ....
