Walt Whitman-inspired short films, poems to be performed at Venice Island Performing Arts Center
Venice Island Performing Arts Center will host "Whitman on Walls" on Aug. 20, an evening celebrating Walt Whitman's poem 'Song of Myself.' The event includes seven short films produced by New York-based theater company Compagnia de' Compari. There will be live spoken word performances in between each film.
