Lawsuit settled between CaroMont Health and departing doctors

A lawsuit filed by seven doctors who left CaroMont Health's South Point Family Practice to form a new medical practice under the Charlotte-based Tryon Medical Partners umbrella has been voluntarily dismissed. The doctors had taken the legal action against CaroMont Health in September of 2019 because their former employer wanted them to pay $1.8 million to be freed from a non compete clause in their contracts.
