Applause to David Nagamine for criticizing the very lenient censure letters issued to Navy admirals responsible for the Red Hill disaster (“Lenient punishment for Red Hill failings,” Star-Advertiser, Letters, Oct. 16).
I was shocked to read that the Navy recently issued nonpunitive censure letters to three retired admirals and several other high-ranking officers responsible for the 2021 Red Hill fuel leaks (“Navy censures officers for ‘leadership failings’ on Red Hill,” Star-Advertiser, Sept. 29).
