    Geraldine Fern Minter, 95, went to be with her lord and Savior on February 23, 2021. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate her life and find comfort that she is in heaven watching over us. 
    Anyone who knew Fern enjoyed her happy outlook on life, her wicked sense of humor, and her love of life and family, She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church for the 16 years her family lived at Union, and carried her Christian values throughout her life. Fern and Fred, her husband, were educators and leaders for 16 years at Union School, and every one of her students were special.  ....
