College offers new study abroad program in Denmark to incoming first-year students in effort to address over-enrollment, housing issues

Middlebury is offering a one-time opportunity for incoming first-year students to spend their first semester in Copenhagen at the DIS: Study Abroad in Scandinavia program. Thirty-two members of the class of 2027 will take a total of four courses with two Middlebury professors designed to immerse them in intellectual and cultural adventures that focus on global education.

An affordable housing initiative being developed by Middlebury College and South Burlington-based Summit Properties received $6,075,405 in grant funding from the Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) to subsidize the cost of constructing approximately 100 new units of housing.
