The Willmar City Council approved the hiring of Justice Walker as the new Willmar Planning and Development director. Walker has been working with the Mid-Minnesota Development Commission since 2020 as a community planner.

Block 25 land sale in downtown Willmar headed to public hearing The Willmar City Council moved the Block 25 land sale process forward, setting a public hearing for May 17. The Planning and Development department is proposing selling the western half of the block, owned by the city, to Lumber One Development Company for $1 per parcel.
