The Half Moon Band and Grames are ready to show Montgomery the power of youth
Thursday's The Junkyard show at the Montgomery Performing Arts Centre has a couple of youthful bands so talented, they can be hard to follow. "Truly, there are adults that play not nearly as well as these kids," said organizer Joe Smith, speaking of Grames and The Half Moon Band. "They are some of the most accomplished young musicians that you will ever hear." They'll be joined by sets from several area acts, many of which are solo. The evening will be closed out by Smith's group, The Full Moon Band. The open mic show is from 6-10 p.m. at MPAC.
