Olivia, Minnesota, man seeks to claim self-defense in boy's death during alleged altercation with mother
The prosecution in the Renville County District Court murder case against Houston Morris asked the court to prevent him from making a claim of self-defense in his upcoming trial on charges of second-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of a 13-year-old boy in Olivia. The criminal complaint charges that the knife was intended for the youth's mother.
