A 43-year-old man from La Crosse, Wisconsin, has been charged with stealing a motor vehicle. David C. Johnson was accused of operating the vehicle without the owner's consent and bail jumping. He is free on a $2,500 signature bond and has a pre-trial conference scheduled for May 10.
