BRIDGEWATER Hundreds of wedding and special occasion dresses that sat in storage will find a new life as angel burial gowns crafted for babies and children who died early. Pat Marsters, of Pembroke, has a group of volunteers across the South Shore and beyond who pick up donated dresses, sew angel gowns and drop off completed gowns to funeral homes, hospitals and families. I m still overwhelmed. I m so amazed and grateful, said Marsters, noting that thousands of angel gowns can be made out of the donated gowns.
