Criminal case dismissed after Granite Falls, Minnesota, man dies before sentencing
James Leroy Sanborn, 86, died after being hospitalized March 3. Sanborn pleaded guilty to one count of possessing child pornography in Chippewa County District Court in January and was scheduled to be sentenced on March 6. Sanborn's attorney notified the court of Sanborn's death on March 28.
